Load and save SQL queries to .sql files
It is rather annoying that all SQL queries are lost when closing Squel. A simple load and save function for .sql files would be great!

Display the current server name somewhere
I see that to work with multiple SQL Servers simultaneously with SQUEL, I need to run SQUEL in multiple instances, which is fine. When I do that, it would be useful to see which server I'm currently connected to in each instance of SQUEL without needing to click on the "Connect" button... more

Support deleting records in the grid editor
When I display the contents of a table in the grid, it's great that I can modify data and add new records. To be a complete data editor, it should also allow deleting records.

Bug when table is named like Schema.TableNames
If you have defined the Schemas in SQL Server 2005 and you have table names based on them like the Application.Settings, or Customer.LoginInfo then the application will not display the data for these tables.
Status: plannedGood point. We haven't run into a lot of people who are using the extra schemas, and including them might complicate Squel's UI. But if more people vote for this one, it might be worthwhile...

multiple grids
Why only 1 grid for different queries? I want to switch between results without one getting overwritten.
Create a new tab with a new grid just like a new tab for a new queryAnother bug is with the datagrid control. for some reason the last column width fills the screen

make splitter bar between code & data larger
Great program, I'm finding it a bit fiddly to 'grab' the splitter between the data and code panes. If it was larger/easier to grab it would help a lot.

Print a warning when executing only highlighted text
When you highselect/select some text in the editor, and then press F5, Squel executes only the highlighted text. This is handy, but can be confusing if you weren't expecting it.
We should print a warning to the Text output tab when this happens, so people know what they did.

Help me with profiling/performance tuning
The MS SQL Management Studio UI is really confusing when it comes to performance tuning. It would be great if Squel could offer something a little more user friendly.

browser shortcuts to switch between tabs
Ctrl-Tab and ShIft-Ctrl-Tab would be very nice to have as it would have more accordance with other programs that use this combo.

Merge in schemamatic functionality
Schemamatic (http://versabanq.com/schemamatic/) manipulates database schemas in the same way that Squel does, but it saves them to disk. Why not have it all accessible from the same front end?
